Compensation & Benefits Manager

Compensation Strategy & Structure:

  • Design, evaluate, and improve compensation plans, including base salaries, bonuses, and incentive structures.
  • Conduct market research to stay current on salary trends, ensuring competitiveness in the marketplace.
  • Develop pay scales and recommend salary adjustments based on performance reviews and external benchmarking.

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage and continuously enhance employee benefits programs (e.g., healthcare, pension, insurance, perks, and wellness initiatives).
  • Evaluate and negotiate with external providers to ensure the best offerings for employees.
  • Communicate benefit options and updates to employees clearly and effectively.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure the company adheres to local and international regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to payroll and benefits.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Use analytics to support strategic decisions, providing recommendations for future adjustments based on trends and financial considerations.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with HR, finance, and leadership teams to align compensation and benefits strategies with the company’s goals.
  • Support the employee life cycle, from onboarding to exit, with compensation and benefits processes.

Employee Communication & Support:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, answering employee questions and providing clear communication about pay, benefits, and other reward-related issues.

This is what you are brilliant in

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years in compensation and benefits management, preferably in a large or international organization.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of compensation and benefits frameworks, market surveys, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Excel; experience with compensation planning tools is a plus.
  • Experience in various industries is an advantage.
