Treasury Manager

As a Treasury Manager, you will be the guardian of the company's financial assets, ensuring optimal cash flow, minimizing financial risk, and keeping the balance sheet strong. You’ll navigate the complex world of cash management, funding strategies, and risk mitigation, all while ensuring the company remains on the right course towards its financial goals.

  • Cash Flow Management: Ensure the company maintains a healthy cash position by monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting cash flow to meet both short-term and long-term liquidity needs.
  • Banking Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact with banks and other financial institutions to negotiate terms, manage credit lines, and optimize banking services.
  • Investment Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for managing the company’s liquidity and investment portfolio to maximize returns while maintaining acceptable risk levels.
  • Debt Management: Oversee the company’s borrowing needs by evaluating and securing financing options, managing existing debt, and ensuring compliance with loan covenants.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and liquidity risks. Implement hedging strategies to mitigate exposure and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide detailed reports on the company’s financial status, including cash flow, investment performance, and risk management activities, to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Policy Development: Establish and maintain treasury policies and procedures to ensure the company follows best practices and complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of treasury professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Systems & Automation: Drive efficiencies by optimizing treasury management systems and automating processes to improve accuracy and speed of financial operations.

This is what you are brilliant in

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a treasury function, with a solid track record of managing cash, investments and debt in a corporate environment.
  • Strong experience in developing and executing risk management strategies, including hedging and derivatives.
  • Experience managing banking relationships and negotiating credit facilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data and strategies clearly to senior leadership.
  • Advanced knowledge of treasury management systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Kyriba).
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage a treasury team and collaborate cross-functionally within the company.
  • Quick decision-making skills to address financial challenges and take advantage of market opportunities.
  • Experience in various industries is an advantage.
