FP&A Manager
We are looking for a skilled Freelance FP&A Manager to help drive the financial success of our clients across various sectors. As a FP&A Manager you’ll be the key architect behind the financial roadmap, steering the company toward sustainable growth. You’ll be the driving force behind budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring that every financial decision is grounded in strategy and precision.

- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Ensure alignment with business goals while anticipating market trends and internal needs.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide insightful financial reports and variance analysis on actuals versus forecasted results. Work closely with department heads to explain variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Strategic Decision Support: Collaborate with senior leadership to drive key financial decisions. Prepare financial models and scenario analyses to support M&A, new business ventures, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor business performance. Analyze profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency, proposing strategies to enhance business outcomes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with key business units, such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to understand business drivers and contribute to the overall strategic direction.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve FP&A processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy, ensuring the company is equipped to scale in a rapidly changing environment.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies, fostering a culture of fiscal responsibility.
This is what you are brilliant in
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role. Prior experience managing a team is highly desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights).
- Expertise in Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of supporting strategic decision-making with financial analysis.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to handle large sets of data and translate them into actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to both finance and non-finance professionals.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and work independently.
- Experience in various industries is an advantage.
