Controlling Manager
We are looking for a skilled Freelance Controlling Manager to help drive the financial success of our clients across various sectors. As a Controlling Manager you are responsible for managing financial control and ensuring the financial health of an organization. You’ll work closely with other departments and senior management to support strategic decisions based on detailed financial insights.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparing budgets and financial forecasts to plan and monitor the company’s future financial performance.
- Reporting: Preparing periodic financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insight into the company’s financial status.
- Cost Control: Analyzing cost structures and ensuring that expenses remain within the budget. This may also involve identifying inefficiencies and proposing cost-saving measures.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth analyses to identify trends, explain deviations, and support management decisions.
- Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Process Optimization: Improving internal financial processes to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensuring the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations, such as tax laws and financial reporting standards.
This is what you are brilliant in
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in a controlling role.
- Financial Acumen: A deep understanding of financial principles, accounting, and financial reporting is crucial. The ability to interpret financial statements and manage budgets is a core requirement.
- Experience with financial software, ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle), and Excel is essential for managing data and preparing reports efficiently.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and work independently.
- Experience in various industries is an advantage.
