Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Accounting Manager to support our clients with managing their financial operations. As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with financial regulations. You will work with various companies, providing expert guidance on financial practices and helping them achieve their financial goals.

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Month-End & Year-End Close: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and ensure the efficient processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support financial decision-making.
  • Audit Preparation: Lead the preparation for external audits, ensuring all financial documents and processes comply with regulatory standards.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure the company complies with tax laws and regulations, preparing tax filings as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and financial systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

This is what you are brilliant in

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least some in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software and financial systems (e.g SAP, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and work independently.
  • Experience in various industries is an advantage.
